Join the MAC and Metalworks Studios are jointly sponsoring this years Sauga’s Summer Song Contest. We are looking for musicians to share their hot new summer song for a chance to win a recording and mixing session at Metalworks Studios, Canada’s premium recording studio.
The jury will determine the “Sauga’s Song of the Summer” and the winner will be announced via video release at the end of August, 2022, date TBD. The winner will also be asked to co-present an award the Mississauga Music Awards on September 16th, 2022.
We are looking for professional musicians to submit one demo of their original song and it can be a collaboration:
- Submit a demo of your song with writing credits, production credits (if applicable) and proof of residency
- Song cannot have been previously recorded or released
- Song cannot exceed 4 minutes
Note: If the song submission contains strong language, or content that is not suitable for all ages, it may impact the jury’s decision.
The contest is open to any professional musician or music group living in Mississauga and is open for submissions from the following genres: Pop, Hip Hop, Country, Rock and R&B.
The deadline to submit your demo is Monday, August 8th, 2022 by 5:00 PM. NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED.
