The Lisgar Residents Association used their SNAP! funding to sponsor artist Mikey Bloom to perform his official anthem for Mississauga’s 50th Anniversary at the Lisgar Annual Community Day on June 22, 2024 at Lisgar Fields Park.
This day full of family fun was supported by the Pollinators Parade directed by Andrew Gaboury and Frog in Hand, as well as by artist Nisreen Askar who provided face painting.
The event was endorsed by Ward 10 Councillor Sue McFadden, and attended by MP for Mississauga-Streetsville, Rechie Valdez.
Sauga Neighbourhood Arts Program (SNAP!) is an initiative of the Mississauga Arts Council that brings artists and communities together to celebrate Mississauga.
