SNAP! Spotlight: MusiSauga – Music Without Borders

Music Without Borders, a nonprofit that uses music to connect and foster understanding through cultures, used their SNAP! funding to support MusiSauga, a free live music event held on September 14, 2024 on the verandah of Benares Historic House in Clarkson. The event celebrated Mississauga’s 50th anniversary by presenting multicultural music that reflects the diversity of the City at an iconic and historic location.

Over 70 audience members brought their lawn chairs to enjoy an afternoon of live music from 10 diverse musicians, with genres spanning from classical violin to Western jazz to traditional Indian sounds, and much more.
