Project: Exprosé workshop series
Caterina Sauro used her Spring 2024 Matchmaker MicroGrant to sustain her Exprosé program – a series of free workshops that invite aspiring and professional poets to connect, discuss, write, and share their work with each other. Each workshop highlights a featured poet, who shares their stories and poetry and answers attendees’ questions.
The Summer 2024 series ran once a month at Studio.89 from June to September, featuring poets The Wild Woman, Paul Edward Costa, Lady la Profeta, and Kelly McAllister. The series saw over 70 attendees, and offered a unique, safe place for local poets to connect and share their work.
