Mississauga Arts Council announces the winner of the Arts for Mental Health Award

Mississauga Arts Council (MAC) is pleased to announce the winner of this year’s Arts for Mental Health Award, family physician and advocate for social justice and mental health, Dr. Colin Saldanha. Sponsored by Bell Canada, this award recognizes the work of individuals and groups who have made significant contributions to arts for mental health initiatives and is presented at MAC’s gala fundraiser for the arts, the MACsquerade Ball, returning this year on December 1st, 2022 at Le Treport.

Mississauga News: Mississauga Arts Council invites artists, groups to apply for second round of MicroGrant program

Mississauga New feature: The Mississauga Arts Council (MAC) will be holding the second round of its 2022 MicroGrant program this fall and is inviting Mississauga artists and unregistered arts groups/collectives across all disciplines to apply for the same. MAC will be providing $60,000 in MicroGrants across seven funding streams to artist-led projects and initiatives.
