MAC’s Online Open Mic streams live on Facebook and YouTube. Join us for an evening of music, spoken word performances, comedy and more!

Reaching over 23,900 people with over 7,200 views across Facebook & YouTube, our MAC Arts Cafe – Online Open Mic’s, hosted by award-winning singer/songwriter, Heather Christine have been very successful. Since July 2020, our monthly MAC Arts Cafe – Online Open Mics, have been a great opportunity for performers to showcase their talents during the COVID-19 pandemic. MAC Arts Cafe features emerging and established Mississauga talents including singers, instrumentalists, spoken word artists, poets, and more.

MAC Arts Cafe – Online Open Mic returns on Thursday, February 17th on MAC’s Facebook and YouTube.

Want to perform at our MAC Arts Cafe – Online Open Mic?

February 2022 MAC Arts Cafe – Online Open Mic auditions are now OPEN! Auditions close Friday, February 11th, 2022 by noon.

Each performer gets a 7-minute timeslot or the equivalent of two songs.

Submit an online audition including:

your contact information
a short bio about you (max. 200 words)
a video or audio recording of you performing (submit as a link)
a headshot (for promotional purposes)

You will be contacted by the Mississauga Arts Council with:

confirmation if you’ve been selected as a performer
details on how to join the online broadcast studio, your time slot, and what you need in order to perform from home

Heather Christine

Heather Christine is an award-winning singer/songwriter that has sung for audiences of over 25,000. She connects with audiences with her vivacious stage presence, expressive voice and engaging personality. Heather was nominated for a 2020 MARTY Award in the Music – Solo Vocalist category and recently won a MAC Matchmaker MicroGrant.
